Grateful November: Day 14 of 14

Senee Seale The Princess Guide

It’s like Dr. Wayne Dyer used to say, it isn’t what happens to us that defines us, but rather how we react to it. He said when you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out of it because that’s what’s inside of it. It’s my personal and professional opinion that if we cultivate gratitude and positivity, that is what will come out of us when we encounter challenges. I’ve recently come to view “L’s” not as losses, but lessons that help me do things better next time. This shift in my thinking has greatly improved how I view events in life and has empowered me to positively progress.

We’ve made it to the last day of this two-week gratitude journey, but it doesn’t have to end — and shouldn’t! For the first 14 days of November, I’m sharing excerpts from the 45-day guided gratitude journal I included in The Princess Guide to Gratitude. If you want to get a jump start on your daily gratitude practice, you can get a copy of the book or ebook through the link. Practicing gratitude during the events of 2020 has changed my life for the better, and I know it can for you too!

Day 14

Today’s affirmation: My mistakes do not define me. How I pick myself up and change my behavior does.

The highlight of my day was:

Today, I am grateful for every single experience that has led me to today.

List two trials and errors (or the small, inconsequential things you do every day) that have made you who you are today.
